On September 8, the Columbus Police & Fire Pipes & Drums traveled to New York City to take part in the memorial services to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11.  The band was very honored to have been invited to take part in such a historic and memorable event.  

This organization serves to honor retired and active police officers and firefighters for their service, as well as those who have lost theirlives in the line of duty. This is a group of volunteer musicians whoparticipate in various community, civic, military and other related functions at their own expense and to great sacrifice. These police officers and firefighters are proud to represent the Columbus Division of Police and Columbus Division of Fire as well as Central Ohio.

The Columbus Police & Fire Pipes & Drums has successfully completed the recording of the band's first musical CD.  Check back to the site in the near future for more information on the expected release date of the CD.
